What is Fake Bake?

How does it work?

DHA, the active ingredient in Fake Bake tanning products, reacts with the natural melanin in your skin and darkens the top layer of your skin giving you a "tanned" appearance. Like a suntan, a Fake Bake tan will fade over time (usually 7-10 days) as that top layer of skin naturally sheds, so weekly applications are recommended.
